58-9757 Martin (used, 2004) D18VS

#1022699, in excellent condition with Geib style original hard shell case.
Martin D-18 guitars built before 1934 were made with 12-frets to the body.  Later on, starting in 1967, they came out with the D-18S which had a wider-than-standard neck, a slotted headstock and 12 frets to the body.  This followed their having come out with the D-28S (rosewood) by 6 years.
Our Discount Price is $2,010.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $1,950.00.

58-9756 Martin (used, 2009) 00028VS

#1342810, in excellent condition, with Geib style original hard shell case.
The Martin 000-28VS is a modern interpretation of the pre-1934 000-28, which at that time was 12-fret with a slotted headstock (having the square slots of course), having open-gear side mounted tuners, in this case bearing the Waverly emblem with brass gears and nickel worms (fried, they are scrumptious!).
Our Discount Price is $2,595.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $2,450.00.

58-9759 Martin (used, 2007) 000-18 Norman Blake Signature Edition

#1263434, Individual No. 61, in excellent plus condition with Geib style original hard shell case.
This is one of our favorite Martin 000-sized instruments.  It is uniquely built having the full fourteen-fret 000-body shape but yielding only 12-frets to the body.  Normally 000-12 fret bodies are morphed into a tighter silhouette, with the upper bout transformed into a shapely urn.    In addition, normally 000-12 frets have a slotted headstock but because professional performers do not have the time required to restring a slothead between shows, this one comes with a greatly applauded solid headstock.
Our Discount Price is $2,575.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $2,495.00.

This example shows just a few extremely dings here and there and a minor scuff on the back, in a supine position, that may even buff out. This handsome guitar has a new puffy headstock logo, six Martin-logo sealed back tuners, 7 etched diamond fingerboard inlays in colorful pearl, in 5 positions, herringbone top trim with zipper backstripe, a beveled edge tortoise shell plastic pickguard, a three ring, multi-ply soundhole rosette, vintage toner top, a high level, parallel grained spruce top and mostly straight-grained East Indian rosewood sides and back.

58-9737 Goodall (used) Jumbo Non-Cutaway in Madi and Cedar

#MdRCJ-4028, in excellent condition with original black hard shell case.
This proud beauty was crafted in Madagascar for the back, sides and headplate, and Master Grade Cedar for the top, contrasted by curly maple bindings. The back of the neck is Mahogany, the fingerboard, which is bound in ebony, hosts 8 Paua Shell (highly colored, kaleidoscopic) etched diamond inlays in 6 positions and we presume that the soundhole rosette is Paua shell as well.

58-9745 Collings (used, 2006) DS2HA

#11747, twelve-fret, slothead, slope-shouldered dreadnought, in excellent plus condition, showing just the slightest, most minuscule signs of having been played
a dozen infinitely tiny dings here and there and some innocuous signs of fingers over the lacquer, but it overall looks like a DS-2H that might have been on display in a store somewhere where the owners are just slightly visually challenged.
Our Discount Price is $3,913.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $3,795.00.

58-9729 Martin (used, 2003) OM18GE

#965069, “as new” condition with original hard shell case and “tags.”
When Martin agreed in late 1929 to build a line of long-necked guitars for well-known banjo- and guitar-player Perry Bechtel, they probably didn’t realize that they would forever establish the 14-fret neck as the steel-string standard, or that they’d design possibly the best fingerstyle guitar model ever made – the Orchestra Model, or OM. After making a few prototypes, Martin went into production in 1930 with the OM-18 and OM-28 (and a few OM-45’s), and many players consider those instruments the ne plus ultra of fingerstyle guitars.
Our Discount Price is $3,248.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $3,150.00.

58-9710 Martin (used, 1949) D-28

#109992, in very good plus condition with black wooden newer hard shell case.
Epic poems and mythological fantasies that cross cultural boundaries are written and sung about C F Martin D-28 guitars made in the 1940s. The Brazilian rosewood is quartersawn and straight-grained to the max.  You could not, will not, cannot find a straighter grain than is vibrantly visible in this voluble vision of vibration.  This guitar sounds amazing and marvelous.

#7079, traditional mahogany dreadnought, with hard shell case.
58-9689 Eastman Strings (new) Model E10D #7079, traditional mahogany dreadnought, with deluxe hard shell case.  The Eastman Traditional Series is inspired by the great flattops of the Golden Era. While, according to the manufacturer, modern offshore production sometimes can be seen (using an old style telescope) drifting further from the discipline that created this legacy, Eastman embraces it.
