Delwyn J. Langejans (pronounced “Langens”) is a luthier who hand crafts everything from his reversible “Dualette” to his Dyer-inspired harp guitars. He has built instruments for such luminaries as the dexterous Thom Bresh, the fabulous Phil Keaggy, of course for mega-melodic picker Earl Klugh, a guy named Peter Frampton, and others.

Hermann Hauser Sr. is considered one of the world’s finest classical guitar builders. He lived was born in 1882 and died in 1952. He is known as the builder that made the guitar that Andres Segovia played. It is said that, in 1924, Segovia asked Hauser to make his new instrument in the style of his 1912 Ramirez. Hauser took all of the measurements and built Andres a guitar, completing it, we suppose, in 1925, that establishes the base line for what is possible in a modern concert instrument.
