We present to you a fancy two-point mandolin with a “bell curve” on the back, this is one of the most original designs to ever hit the big time. Gibson (used, 1910) Style A blackface mandolin
#10307, solidly excellent condition with original hard shell case (the case is exceptionally clean). This is Gibson’s second-in-the-line-at-the-time model, often called “The Plain A.”
This modest style does not including having the vaunted Gibson name on the headstock, which sports just a black overlay. It does, however, have “The Gibson” factory-etched on the “crown shaped” Orville Gibson period tailpiece cover, which at this time had no floral design.

Gibson (used, 1926) A4 Mandolin
#83595, in excellent minus condition with original hard shell case.
The last Gibson serial number for the year 1926 is said to have been #83600; if so this was made 5 numbers from the end of that year, maybe even on Friday, December 31st, 1926. Yes, it is possible. What surprises us is that the headstock flares "out" at the top, it doesn't "get skinnier" as it goes upward. Between 1923 and into the beginning of 1928 this model was supposed to have the vaunted "snakehead peghead" and for some inexplicable reason this one does not. Perhaps somebody special ordered it this way.
Our Discount Price is $3,706.00 and Our Cash Discount Price is $3,595.00.

The Loar (new) LM700VS Mandolin
#09050004, with hard shell case.
Hand carved, nitrocellulose-finished mandolin is a tribute to classic design techniques. From the hand-carved, hand graduated AAA spruce top and AAA Flamed Maple back and sides to the abalone/mother-of-pearl headstock inlay, these mandolins were built to represent Golden Age craftsmanship updated for the modern era.
Carved and assembled in the Loar Hand Carved Design Workshop, then hand-rubbed with nitrocellulose lacquer for clean warm tone and powerful projection, these mandolins offer sounds that could only be previously found in instruments that were decades-old.
